Microelectronic Technologies (MeT) is proud to announce the launch of the new Quaris product range, beginning with the release of two core modules: the Quaris Power Supply Unit (PSU) and Quaris Power Distribution Unit (PDU).
Purpose-built for aerospace, defence and other high-reliability applications, the Quaris range has been developed to deliver rugged, compact and scalable power solutions for demanding environments. Designed for platforms where performance, durability and integration matter, Quaris modules provide a strong foundation for next-generation mission systems.
The Quaris PSU provides reliable DC power conversion in a compact, rugged aluminium enclosure, with support for parallel operation to increase available power where required. Its feature set includes a 16V to 50V DC input range, 28V output at up to 320W, 2250V DC isolation, operation from -40°C to 125°C, and protection against reverse polarity, inrush current, and over/under voltage events.
The Quaris PDU complements the PSU by delivering controlled and reliable power distribution for mission-critical systems. It features a 9V to 38V DC input range, six outputs, up to 40A total output with 8A maximum per channel, RS485 communications, channel health monitoring, operation from -40°C to 125°C, and the same suite of electrical protection features.
Together, these first Quaris releases establish the foundation of a broader modular ecosystem designed to simplify integration and support flexible system architectures. Both products are presented by MeT as designed for demanding defence and avionics environments, with listed design targets including MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-704F, MIL-STD-810G, and MIL-STD-1275E.
As the Quaris range expands, it will grow into a broader family of mission-ready modules that can be deployed individually or as part of a larger integrated power and control architecture. Planned additions to the range include Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Vehicle Interface Controllers (VIC), ARINC communication modules, and other ruggedised subsystems designed to support the evolving needs of aerospace and defence platforms.
Beyond the standard Quaris range, MeT can also provide custom design and development services to meet the specific needs of our clients, delivering tailored power and control solutions for unique platform, system and mission requirements.
